Giorgia Nesti

 Giorgia Nesti is Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Padua, where she teaches Public Policy and Public Administration. She directs the Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, as well as the Observatory on Urban Policies (#URBES).

She gained her BA in Political Science at the University of Padova and her Ph.D. in Comparative and European Politics at the University of Siena. She’s member of the Board of the Doctoral Programme Resources for a new Public Administration at the University of Milan Bicocca. She currently serves as Associate Editor of Information Polity and she’s also member of the Scientific Board of Le Istituzioni del Federalismo and Regional Studies and Local Development. 

Her research interests focus on Innovation in local policy and local governance, smart city governance, Digital innovation, e-government, and AI in the public sector, European policies for Urban development.
