“Italy and the post-NGEU: What lies ahead”, Discover the Preliminary Programme
The preliminary programme of the conference “Italy and the post-NGEU: What lies ahead” is now available.
The conference will be held at the University of Padua on 20–21 November 2026 and will bring together scholars, policymakers, and practitioners to reflect on the legacy of NextGenerationEU and the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), as well as on the challenges and perspectives emerging in the post-NGEU context.
The two-day programme features sessions addressing public policy and governance after the Recovery and Resilience Facility, alongside a roundtable focusing on accountability, performance, and governance and a final discussion on policy implementation and future priorities.
The conference is organised by the SISP Standing Group on Administrations and Public Policies in collaboration with the Observatory on Institutional and Administrative Capacities (#CAPIS), with the patronage and financial support of the Italian Political Science Association (SISP) and the Department of Political Science, Law and International Studies at the University of Padua.
Scientific Committee: Laura Polverari, Andrea Terlizzi, Mario De Rosa, Laura Mastroianni, and Cristina Zerbinati.
