From knowledge to action: spotlight on a research experience at the #CAPIS Observatory
In this video, Cristina Zerbinati, PhD student in Social Sciences at the University of Padua presents her experience at the Institutional and Administrative Capacity Observatory (#CAPIS), where she has been working on a research project on administrative capacity.
She outlines the practical dimensions of the research in this field, and in particular: hands-on analysis of data from Italian municipalities to understand the needs at local level and a continuos learning with policy actors and international research collaborations within an open and stimulating academic environment.
Moreover, this experience testimonies how the Observatory supports evidence-based decision-making and contributes to public sector innovation through collaborative and policy-relevant research activities.
A story of learning by doing, collaboration, and growth and an example of the opportunities that #CAPIS can offer to early-career researchers interested in public administration and public policy.
