
Paolo Graziano
Paolo Graziano is Professor of Political Science at the University of Padua, Research Associate at the European Social Observatory, Brussels, Chercheur associé at Sciences Po in Paris and Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Surrey.
He has held visiting positions at a number of universities, including Cornell University, University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, Sciences Po in Paris, University of Melbourne, University of Washington, European University Institute, University of Roskilde, University of Amsterdam, University of California-Berkeley. He is co-editor of Governance (2018- ) and Past President (2019-2020) of the APSA Conference Group on Italian Politics (CONGRIPS). He has worked as consultant for several social and cultural NGOs, local Italian public administrations and agencies, the Council of Europe and the European Commission (DG Employment and Social Affairs).
He has published several authored and edited volumes and journal special issues. His most recent authored book in English is Europeanization and Policy Change. Italy in Comparative Perspective (Routledge, 2013). He has also co-edited a book on The EU and the Domestic Politics of Welfare State Reforms: Europa, Europae (with S. Jacquot and B. Palier, Palgrave, 2011). His most recent book is “Neopopulismi” (Il Mulino, 2018).
