
RSA Annual Conference 2025: Porto, 6-9 June | Research insights on local administrative capacity
Professor Laura Polverari and researcher Cristina Zerbinati will take part in the Regional Studies Association (RSA) Annual Conference 2025, taking place in Porto from 6 to 9 May 2025.
Guided by the central theme “Governing the Regional Transformation”, the annual conference will bring together academics, policymakers, practitioners, and experts from across the world to debate and share insights on the pressing challenges and opportunities shaping our regions today.
Within the special session SS46, Spatial Inequalities, Funding and Institutional Capacity in Local and Regional Government, they will present their co-authored paper: “Are Italian Municipalities Fit for the Age of Permacrisis? Administrative Capacity Gaps and Capacity Building Measures.”
